Meet gorgeous Leela, she is the most petite and pretty little baby to be in front of my lens in a while! All big smiles at first and a few tears later we got all the images we needed. With baby session’s we need to keep things moving fairly quickly in order to keep the young babies entertained! I love baby session’s, the chance to act a goose and make silly noises is always fun!

Mia | pregnancy newborn photographer

I first met Kirsty, Mark and Lachlan for their beach maternity session. After a hot 40+ degree day the afternoon turned out perfect for beach photography. I was so excited about meeting their new baby just 4 weeks after these maternity images were captured.
Mia is such a beauty, just look at her sweet newborn face! Her photo session went so well with lots of beautiful images created, such a great keepsake for them!

Erin and John visited the studio on Friday with their 2 adorable children, Annabelle 18 months old and Nathaniel a sweet newborn! I already knew it would be a challenge to get an 18 month old to get close to a newborn and sit still! After many attempts, we were able to grab a few really sweet ones of them together. The one of them in this post is just a taste of the challenge we had in getting the end result (which I am saving for Erin’s slideshow!).

Byron | newborn photography

Gorgeous Byron and his family visited the studio on the weekend for Byron’s newborn session. Byron was over 4kg’s at birth, which brings back memories of my Xavi as he was big too! His big brother and sister were a lot of fun and great kids! I find newborn session’s when there are siblings involved run smoother and bub sleeps better (must be all the little voice’s and noise!). With such beautiful weather saturday we could head outside for some beautiful outdoor shots!

Meet beautiful Macy! Look at her head of hair?!! Isn’t it amazing!! Macy gave us a few little slots of sleep which was good to get those curled up womb like positions. She also was wide awake for a good portion of the session, I think she just wanted to look around and get in all the action!

14 days new, Kamilah | newborn photography | baby photographer

Meet 14 days new, Kamilah. Kamilah was born with hip dysplasia and was allowed to take her harness off for the photo session. I must admit I wasn’t sure how today’s session would go and I knew there was poses I wouldn’t attempt. She made me work hard for every shot and was not as sleepy as I hoped but we did manage some sleepy poses. It’s always nice to capture some wide eyes with newborns and Kamilah was good at staring straight into my eyes!
Thanks Rene and Danna for bringing Kamilah to the studio, she is absolutely gorgeous!
